The CPU cores are very interesting with the Nvidia Tegra K1 Quad-core processor with a clock speed of 2.0GHz. Gaming processor is the Nvidia Kepler with 192 CUDA cores. The device also supports DirectX 11, Illusory Engine 4, OpenGL 4.4 hardware acceleration. The RAM memory is average for a gaming device with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM. Inbuilt storage is 32GB which can also be expand using micro SD card up to 128GB. The configurations looks good except the average 2GB of RAM.

There is a mammoth 10000mAh battery to power this gaming Tablet. However, this battery only powers the device for 7 hours in case of continuous heavy gaming. This is understandable as the power hunger Nvidia cores while gaming drinks the battery juice at a fast rate.

On the rear side, there is a 13 MP camera and there is a front camera with 5 MP sensors which can also take video at 1080p resolution. Bluetooth 4.0 is available to connect the device with other gadgets and accessories. Also, we found an HDMI dual screen output to play a game on a big screen if we want.

Coming to the gaming and functionalities, there is a definite loss of functionality because of the Android Jellybean version included instead of a Marshmallow or at least a Lollipop version. At the same time, the games which can only be played on Nvidia Tegra are available for this device, though not a big advantage. It supports emulators for many gaming consoles, to make this device beyond the Android platform, which is very minimal for hardcore games.

To know the answer, We have to wait until the release.  Now the JXD S192 “Retro” gaming Tablet is available in Pre-Order.
