Here’s my review for the new Beelink s82 Plus i got from Gearbest
It took 8 days to arrive via DHL £15 customs to pay The device was packed really well in plain packaging.

Iv been looking forward to playing with this for a wile now as i already have a beelink s82 witch runs great so i was eager to try the updated model..
The new Beelink S82 Plus now comes with H.265 hardware decoding & has the upgraded Amlogic s812 chipset.

It comes with 16GB or rom so theres plenty of room for all your favorite apps & games & still lots of room for your movies, photos & data ect,

The boot time on the New beelink s82 plus is between 30 & 35 seconds to complete

USB logitec c270 webcam works fine
External Samsung hard drive of 1TB works fine powered by the Beelink
XBMC Kodi is working well for me,but im no expert with Kodi i watch films via navi-x thats
about it, 720 & 1080 are playing fine. Also the Beelink plays films stored on my pc over wifi fine
HDMI CEC works great i love being able to controll the box with my normal tv remote this is a great touch.

All my tests have been done using the stock rom.

The box feels well constructed & has vent holes on the bottem,On the front you can see a blue LED when the device is powered & a red LED when its on stand by,Next to the LED there is a little window for the remote control sensor,There’s a power button near the rear, Also on the rear there is the HDMI port, the 5V power connector, an Ethernet port, a SPDIF port,a headphone jack port (with the secret recovery button inside), and an OTG port, two full sized USB ports, along with a micro SD card slot.

Below are 2 photos of the Beelink’s internals this was the first thing i done when i got the box was to take it apart to take some photos,There a nice heat sink on the cpu witch will help with the cooling,I would of liked to have seen a bigger one but this one seem’s to do the job, iv not had a shut down or freez on my beelink due to over heating.

The device comes Pre rooted with SuperSu installed & is running Android KitKat 4.4
Once booted it runs very well indeed nice & snappy,You have a choice of launchers the
lightHome launcher with is pitchered below this is nice to use on a big screen tv witch has a cool look to it,The 2nd launcher is the launcher3 the normal tv box launcher.

There’s a few preinstalled applications But not too many, including Play Store and Google applications , Netflix, XBMC 13.4, 4k Media Player, Media Center, FlixUnivers, EShare server to cast media files from your Android smartphone, tablet & pc (I rely love this)

The Beelink S82 Plus is perfect for streaming your multimedia(XBMC),As media playback runs perfect with no lag, stuttering or buffering Iv watched over 20 full HD tv programs with out fault,Its also great for web surfing, and video streaming apps such as YouTube and Amazon Prime.

Iv tried a few game’s & no surprise they run fine i always try beachbuggy blitz with the graphics set to high & again its perfect.
Sixaxis controller App works fine but you must use version 0.8.0 or above or you will get a segmentation fault.

So my conclusion is the Beelink s82 plus is a near perfect multimedia tv box & well worth the money.Beelink is known for high quality TV boxes & theres always plenty of surport.
